In this short training DVD Consultant Clinical Psychologist Paul Grantham provides viewers with essential understanding of the role that mindfulness can play in the therapeutic work with grief and loss problems. He also takes the viewer through a simple mindfulness exercise that enables your to experience the technique yourself.
Mindfulness, as awareness and acceptance of the present moment, has been practised for over centuries to ease human suffering. That is why there is no surprise that it finds its way into modern approaches to grief and loss work. This DVD is a short extract from a longer seminar delivered by Paul Grantham on new approaches to Grief and Loss Work.
The issue of mindfulness within this seminar is interesting and informative in its own right, not only because Paul outlines very clearly the specific applications of mindfulness to this type of work, but, in particular, because he demonstrates a simple mindfulness exercise that can be practised by the viewers along with the seminar’s audience.
