The Authors
Philip Permutt is author of the internationally acclaimed best sellers The Crystal Healer, The Little Book of Crystal Tips & Cures and The Complete Guide to Crystal Chakra Healing. His latest book The Crystal Tarot (book and card set) has just been published (September 2010). He discovered crystals nearly twenty or so years ago after a severe illness. He has been practising as a crystal healer and teacher ever since. He founded iSiS Crystals, the largest and most successful crystal shop in the UK, with it?s integral healing centre. He runs his own business importing and selling crystals from around the world.

Philip is a dowser and uses this ability, together with the magic of crystals, to change the energies in peoples' homes, offices and shops. Traditional Taoist healing, Reiki, shamanism, past-life regression, soul retrieval and sound and drama therapy are additional skills, and he is also a psychic and medium, working loosely with his spirit guides. He runs courses and workshops on many of these subjects.

Philip has lectured at the University of Hertfordshire on crystals and crystal healing for ?Complementary Therapy for Nurses and Medical Professionals? and has an honours degree in Applied Biology from London University. Philip writes the monthly crystal column for Fate & Fortune Magazine and his articles have been published in magazines, electronically and in journals. He has written and recorded Crystal Workshop CD and many meditation CDs. Recently Philip has written several booklets for Paradise Music?s crystal, meditation and Reiki CD releases.

Lyn Palmer has been a therapist for over twenty years. After training as a hypnotherapist/psychoanalyst she delved continually deeper into complimentary therapies always working holistically with the mind, body and spirit. She is a Reiki Master/Teacher, Crystal Healer and Reflexologist. She practises in Hertfordshire, UK. Lyn is a natural psychic and clairvoyant. She is also an artist exploring colour and texture.

Her fascination with sacred stones and crystals started at the age of six when she picked up a stone on a pavement and saw a face in it. Since then she takes every opportunity to visit sacred stone sites and connect with the stones wherever she finds them. Her work with crystals is a natural progression along this path.

Lyn has a diploma in hypnotherapy and is an Accredited Member of the National Council of Hypnotherapists. She has been a member of the International Association of Hypno-Analysts for many years. Lyn has written articles which have been published electronically and in journals.
